![]() Ten months is well more than enough time for another development studio to restart the production of a game on the Game Boy Advance. For whatever reason, Namco cancelled Sandbox Studio's product in October 2000, nearly ten months ago. Ultimately, Sandbox Studios ( Frisbee Golf, Emperor's New Groove, ESPN Hockey Tonight) was contracted to bring Tekken to the Nintendo handheld. A little more than a year ago, Namco was shopping around the Tekken GBA rights to several Game Boy Advance developers. Just to clear up a bit of confusion: Tekken for Game Boy Advance is not in danger of being cancelled, despite the overblown reports elsewhere on the web.
